About the event
About The Practice:
Daoyin is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movements, breathing techniques, and meditation to cultivate and balance the body's vital energy (qi). It focuses on enhancing flexibility, strength, and mental clarity while promoting overall well-being. Often considered a precursor to practices like Qigong and Tai Chi, Daoyin harmonizes the body, breath, and mind for improved health and vitality.
About The Practitioner:
Annemarijn’s yoga journey began in 2019 in Mozambique, where she discovered the transformative power of Iyengar and restorative yoga. Returning to Holland, she explored Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin styles, eventually training as a Vinyasa/Yin teacher and leaving her Public Health nursing career behind. Now based in Nairobi,
